So I can't say too much about it...because you know, horror depends on the element of surprise, but I filmed a trailer for a 90's horror film today. Horror is so much fun to film because you get to really go for it in the dramatic moments - and let's be honest - SFX make up is the coolest. I got to get in the make up chair for some bloody wounds and though sticky, it was very fun. Thanks to the make up artist Emily Fiora for making us look so cool! Not only was the blood cool, but she did some killer eyeliner that made me feel like Melissa Joan Hart in every 90's movie I watched as a kid.

I performed Juliet in an abridged version of Romeo and Juliet for the first time today. It was my first time performing Shakespeare on a stage and it was exhilerating. Luckily I was sort of eased into it because we are doing a 45 minute abridged version of the show, so my lines were cut down quite a bit from the full play. Nevertheless it was tough work. The more I dig my nails into Shakespeare, the more I am amazed by him. He has a way of writing direction right into the dialogue. His choice of words and purposeful use of iambs, spondees, and trochees tell you exactly what the character is fe...
