Today was an insane travel day. I got up at the crack of dawn in the dark and the rain to drive four hours back across Ohio to Cincinnati to return my rental car and fly to Baltimore, where I picked up a new rental car and drove another two hours to Chestertown, MD for my show at Washington College. I did this school last year and I was so excited to return to the the quaint little town of Chestertown. It's a very historic east coast town that reminds me of where I grew up in Connecticut. And the students and assistants that I get at this school are so helpful and cheerful. After a great show right before sunset, I got pizza at a local town place and then drove another two hours to end my day at a hotel in Fairfax, VA. What a day! Including the few minutes that one of my drives took me through West Virginia, and the fact that Cincinnati airport is actually in Kentucky...I was in five states today!
